Designer Lydia Hinds of Le’Anna Apparels presented “The Roots,” a polished exploration of heritage, identity and contemporary Caribbean fashion.
Anchored by a vivid blue print, the collection moved fluidly between ready-to-wear separates and more dramatic runway statements. Halter tops, wide-leg trousers, sculpted dresses and coordinated sets established a strong visual language, while oversized hats, flowing overlays and a tiered black satin gown introduced volume and theatricality.
Contrasting black-and-white motifs added depth to the collection, sharpening the colour story without disrupting its cohesion. The models carried each look with confidence, allowing the silhouettes, movement and construction of the garments to command attention.
With “The Roots,” Hinds delivered a collection that felt culturally grounded yet modern, balancing expressive styling with wearable design.
