Sonia Noel Designs delivered one of the standout presentations at the EWA Africa 2026 Fashion Event, captivating the audience with a collection that celebrated freedom, cultural identity and authentic artistic expression.
Presented under the theme “A Flare of Freedom, A Passion for Honesty,” the showcase combined dramatic silhouettes, bold contrasts and expressive movement to create a visually compelling runway experience. The presentation was directed and produced by Richard Young, whose creative vision transformed the collection into a cohesive fashion narrative filled with energy, emotion and theatrical impact.
The collection featured flowing silhouettes, bold monochromatic ensembles, vibrant red statement pieces and intricately detailed accessories that reflected African-inspired craftsmanship. Wide-brimmed hats, textured fabrics and expressive prints added depth to each look, while the models’ confident runway presence brought every design to life with elegance and purpose.
